Dr. Omnia Elhossan Veterinarian

Hi, I'm Omnia! I was born in Muscat, Oman, and I have some Egyptian roots. I’m a veterinarian who believes that great care starts with a genuine connection to animals, their families, and the communities they belong to. I completed a degree in Biomedical Science at Toronto Metropolitan University before moving to London, England, to pursue my veterinary degree. I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2025 and trained in Canada, the UK, and Qatar, which gave me a global perspective on veterinary care and strengthened my love for working with people from all walks of life.

I’m especially passionate about bringing veterinary medicine to underrepresented communities and helping people understand the crucial role veterinary care plays for both animals and society. I joined Abbey Animal Hospital in December 2025, and one of my favourite parts of being a veterinarian is meeting new people and building genuine relationships with clients while caring for their animals. I also have a strong interest in veterinary cardiology and look forward to continuing to grow my skills and knowledge in this area.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time on my LEGO sets, it’s a fun way for me to relax and get creative.
