Kaushi Aluwihare

Meet Kaushalliya, or Kaushi as everyone calls her!
Kaushi graduated from the University of Guelph Ridgetown Campus in 2009 as a Registered Veterinary Technician and has about 18 years of experience in the field. She joined her first animal clinic as a high school co-op student and has never looked back since. Her favourite part of the job is seeing her patients get better and being there to comfort them when they need it the most.
Kaushi loves being in surgery and hopes to expand her skills in dentistry and/or rehabilitation in the years to come. She joined Abbey Animal Hospital in February of 2024 and is thrilled to be part of this incredible team. She feels fortunate to have such a compassionate and friendly bunch of co-workers who are slowly becoming family to her.
In her free time, Kaushi enjoys acting, singing, and spending time with her family and cats, Cocoa and George.
