There are two kinds of parasites – internal and external. Internal parasites are usually worms typically present in your pet’s digestive system. They can be treated with oral medication and deworming. External parasites like fleas and ticks are usually present on the exterior surface of your pet and within their ear canals. These parasites can even spread from pets to humans.
